Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, Amelia Island Boules Club (AIBC) welcomes you with open arms. Our club embodies the essence of boules—a game steeped in tradition, requiring skill, precision, and a touch of strategy. But beyond the game, it's the camaraderie, the shared laughs, and the friendly competition that make every match memorable. ⦿ Founded in 2010, the AIBC is the largest club in the United States, with over 150 members, and is the proud home of the Amelia Open held every November in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Currently, we play at two venues that change location with the seasons. From October through April, we play at our sixteen courts at the marina in the beautiful historic downtown of Fernandina Beach at 1 South Front Street. During the warmer months, May through September, we move to the shady Central Park courts at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and South 10th Street. ⦿ The club meets for informal play on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We always have extra boules for friends and guests who want to learn the game. During any weekday afternoon, you will find a pick-up game. ⦿ Discover the joy of boules and the warmth of our community.
